1) Sharon and Kate recently completed an intensive paediatrics course. The course covered advanced embryology, neo-natal anatomy and paediatric cranial techniques. It also covered refreshers on complete new-born orthopaedic and neurological examinations.
NSO offer a Well Baby Check (half-price to every new mum who had treatment with us during their pregnancy).
Treatment can help with many things, including reflux, colic, wind and feeding problems. It can leave your baby happier, calmer and more settled.
2) Sharon will be in Auckland from 8th-14th March as part of her faculty training with the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation of Australia and New Zealand.
She will be an Assistant Tutor on a 40 hour intensive cranial course which introduces practiscing osteopaths to the detailed anatomy and refined techniques of osteopathy in the cranial field.
Kate and Luke will be extending their hours to ensure your needs are met while Sharon is away.
Please call (02) 9907 8919 to make an appointment.
3) Sharon revisited Manly Hospital Maternity Ward last week for the first time since becoming a new mum there. Sharon went to renew ties with the midwives and make them aware of some exciting research. This research shows what Sharon has been seeing in her practice for many years: that it is possible for women who have osteopathic treatment during pregnancy to have improved birth outcomes.
